new phase

are we now in another phase of historical development?...

distinctive characteristics... war in the middle east.. oil.. movement in marriage rights.. technology

Historial J.R. McNeill " This is the first time in human history that we have altered ecosystems with such intensity, on such a scale, and with such speed..." There's great relation to my BIO class that I was taking to this class. And this quote is something that expresses that same correlation, between our plant back then, and now.. is it sustainable?
We have warnings of global climate change and warming due to more of a production in greenhouse gases because of the pollution of our growing population. The earth can not keep up with our production in fossil fuels, we need to find alternative powers of energy. I believe in multiple solutions to prevent the problems of greenhouse gases. Solar energy, wind energy etc are all the advances that are helping our globe maintain sustainability. These are our new technologies, that are a revolution to the industry. It is bringing a new wave of change to reduce waste and pollution. Cell phones and tablets and smart cars, are all the new wave also in the tech revolution. We are experiencing all sorts of revolutions in this era that I could see the possibility of it becoming a new age. Human rights are being challenged in the sanction of marriage. We are fighting wars over foreign soil, for reasons that have been forgotten in chaos. Third world countries are becoming emersed in technology that is giving the woman and oppressed there more freedom, causing more revolutions.
No matter how you see it, I believe we are in an Era with many revolutions to find out what it is to be truly free.
